The SG Media team celebrating four years of business in Blainville

After four years and over a hundred projects based in Blainville, three observations stand out: SMEs underestimate the interest in their day-to-day operations, consistency in publishing outweighs budget size, and industries are more similar than we think.

Based in Blainville, we support businesses in the automotive, construction, real estate, restaurant, and service industries. Over a hundred projects later, certain observations keep coming up.

SMEs underestimate their own material

Most leaders think their day-to-day operations lack interest. That is almost always wrong. The workshop, the team at work, the manufacturing process: this is exactly what the public wants to see.

What seems ordinary to you because you live it every day is often what fascinates your customers.

Consistency beats budget

We have seen small, well-managed budgets outperform larger investments spent on a single campaign. Regular presence builds brand recall.

Industries are more alike than you think

A car dealership and a restaurant face the same fundamental challenge: convincing someone who doesn't know them to take that first step. The mechanisms that work can be applied from one sector to another.

What we would do differently

Measure sooner. On our first projects, we produced excellent content without always documenting its commercial impact. Today, tracking is put in place right from the start.

What's next

Our team continues to grow, and our methods along with it. This blog will serve to share what we learn in the field.

What is the main lesson from these past four years?

Measure sooner. On our first projects, we produced excellent content without always documenting its commercial impact. Today, tracking is put in place right from the start.
